Final Week of School!

Hope you all are enjoying the awesome weather we are having this weekend. Can't get enough!!

WOW!! I can't believe how fast the year has come and gone!! These kids are so special to all of us here at Morningstar! They have all grown so much this past year!! They truly are little shining stars!! Thank you Parents for your continued love and support.

June 10th- June 13th is the Final Week of School. Morningstar will be closed Friday June 14th for summer preparations!!

All parents and siblings are invited to the Morningstar Learning Center Preschool Graduation, Wednesday June 12th at 3:30PM.

   All students who have been attending Preschool at Morningstar have been practicing a small performance for you all. Students enrolled in Preschool will perform and will be awarded certificates for not only graduation, but also for their accomplishments here during this last year!! We are so excited to perform and the kids are excited too! :)

Directly following Graduation and awards, we invite you all to watch our end of the year slide show & share some snacks and lemonade. Students will be baking cupcakes this week for the celebration. Parents are welcome to bring in healthy snacks for this celebration. I know we will have sweet treats!! Please let me know if you are interested in bringing something for the school.

Thursday June 13th, Morningstar will enjoy a field day!! All students attending school will participate in outdoor activities and games. This may include the first trip to the park, depending on weather. Please make sure your child has appropriate foot wear for this day!! They will be running and playing all day!! WE are also asking parents to please apply sunscreen on your child in the morning to assist our teachers. Please label all sunscreen with your child's name (blue tape is available, those bottles get slippery & names rub off easily!!)

Summer Programs start Monday June 17th!!

Please let us know if you are interested in signing up for our summer camp programs. We have such a fun summer planned and cant' wait to dig right in!! Our first camp is Gardening!! Come join us for a summer filled with fun, adventures and smiles all around!!

AS always, please remember the following when dropping off your kiddos:

• Please sign IN & OUT EVERYDAY!!! 
• We are open from 8:30am-5:30pm. Please note if you are early to drop your kids off or late picking them up, there is a $1/minute charge that will be applied to your bill. Thank you for your cooperation.
• All students need outdoor appropriate shoes and clothes. If the weather is nice, please still include a light jacket and shoes your child can run in outside. We are having kids take their shoes off and switch into inside shoes after playing in the backyard. Kids get dirty and we are trying to reduce the amount of mud coming into the school as much as possible.
