<p>Throughout the next week we will be exploring "Space" in our classrooms. This weekend is a great time to observe our great galaxy in action! Over the weekend, check out the "supermoon" and the meteor shower up in our night sky. May 5th &amp; 6th are best, before dawn. Meteors may be to hard to see through the moonlight but I know I'm going to be watching the show. See the website below for more details &amp; to explore other meteor showers happening this year! <span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><a href="http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/earthskys-meteor-shower-guide" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.morningstarlearningcenter.org/storage/meteor_jimmy_westlake.jpeg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1336234723129" alt="" /></a></span></span><a href="http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/earthskys-meteor-shower-guide" target="_blank">http://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/earthskys-meteor-shower-guide</a> Have a great weekend!!<br /><br /></p>
